UGG...LEE!!!!

It all started when I was at a street market in NYC and I saw this AMAZING t-shirt that so perfectly described how I felt. I found it absolutely hilarious!!! Visit his site - he is a great artist :) TOM SHARP DESIGNS

 I have always hated UGG boots - hence I never bought a pair. I never understood why someone would want to wear these oversized boots to make their feet look like a gianormous yetti... Similarity??? I think soooo DING DING DING!!!

 Doesn't matter if they make them in my favorite colors or in blinged out versions by Jimmy Choo - I still refuse to buy them! I have to say that in NYC, people either hate them and refuse to be associated (as I) or they ABSOLUTELY love them and will wear them anywhere, with anything and they stilllll think it looks hot/cute/trendy or wtv definition they have for it!

 

Now I get it - they are warm but it kills me to see people walking around with these dinged up dirty UGGS that look like they've been through a world war - cause lets face it....Suede doesn't last longer than the day you own it... ESPECIALLY if you are wearing them in snow with all the salt to damage your poor boot (not that I care for them)

Now for the first time in my entire life I have visited the site and found some hideous relatives of the UGG boot - o sheesh - take a look...Now I admit they are staying on target with trends - bright colors, animal prints, florals, color blocking, fringed, fur - but woahhhhh why do you need an UGG in the SPRING???? This is ridiculous...

THE THREE F'S - Fur, Feathers and F?!

O yes I have just revealed my 2nd F word! FURRRRRR!!! (The 3rd one will be revealed tomorrow)
All about furrr, anything furrry whether its a coat, a bag or even a live pooch, FUR is hottttt right now! Literally! And what better way to stay warm in this terrible winter weather? Doesn't matter if you're against real fur, there are many beautiful pieces that are animal friendly like BEBE's Faux Fur Vest!
Fur is luscious and bold and been around for ages yet the trend has never died. This year seems to be a BIG year for fur! Check out this fashion site for Andrea Uku's page on Street Style and all the fur she's been finding! Its definitely a common piece in everybody's wardrobe! The great thing about it, is that there are so many variations of this trend and you can find it in almost any way you fancy it, whether its a HUGE fur coat or a simple trim on a collar.
Fur was commonly associated with wealthy women and men and lets not forget that it was an actual form of currency from the 1500's to 1900's. It wasn't as popular after that but was always considered a precious piece and only the richest of the rich had it...Now everyone can afford it - Darn!
By the way - I had to add in those disgusting Trapper Hats because as much as I hate it - someones loving it! HAHA

[Sassy Minx] As much as I am loving some of the newest trends seen all over the city - I am also seeing MANY trends that I HATE! Somehow people are eating them alive and can't get enough of them! The one I hate today are TRAPPER HATS! Yes those big furry God awful trapper hats that every man and woman insist on buying to keep warm! What happened to normal hats??? Is it hot to be walking around like your Simba? King/Queen of the jungle? (yessss I mentioned queen to be politically correct) OK, obviously they keep you warm but what is sexy with being associated to a hunter? Come here big boy (says a creepy big hairy woman) - Unless your tall thin and modelesque, this hat equals not sexy in my books and I don't care what anyone says!
Please leave your comments below if you care to explain why you so dearly love this trend! I'm up for some convincing...BUT if you hate it - PLEASE SHARE TOO! HAHA
